Jackie and I are fortunate to get coupons many ways. Find whatever works for you and don't be afraid to speak up and ASK people!
How we get Coupons:
*The Philadelphia Inquirer-Jackie's husband delivers papers for them. Therefore, he often has up to 20 excess coupon inserts a week.
*The Press of Atlantic City-depending on what we have or need already, we will purchase copies of the Sunday press (I personally will not purchase any more than four newspapers, I think it's a waste when there are other ways to get coupons)
*The Press Extra-A form of the Press of Atlantic City. This I get for free in my mailbox on Friday's. I look at the insert given and if I like it and find good coupons, that is when I may go purchase extra copies.
*Random Mailings-I always go through my mail. Sometimes, on Thursdays, I get a random Red Plum in my box or other coupon flyers.
*I wrote my mail carrier a nice letter. I explained that I like to coupon to save my family money, that I donate anything I have in excess to the food bank and that my husband and I send expired/extra coupons to the troops. I asked if she had any extra coupon inserts to save them for us. The NEXT DAY I had 32 papers in my box!!
Internet Coupons:
*First, a note about Internet coupons. It is our suggestion that you make a special email address for anything you "sign up" for. Whether it be Old Navy sale updates, P&G coupons, Dog food websites, etc, it will be more beneficial to you to have these emails take up space in an email address that you DO NOT use for work or personal correspondence.
*Couponmom.com-if you sign up on there, they will send you weekly emails. In these emails coupon matchups are sent to you as well as printable coupons
*Retailmenot.com-offers many internet coupons
*Buy signing up for emails from the many different companies which we shop for. SIGN UP FOR EMAILS FROM EVERYWHERE YOU SHOP!! A good website is http://pgeverydaysolutions.com/ P&G send out really great coupons. I never used to want to sign up for all these websites, but by having an alternate email address, I can store the emails, and when we are running errands and I always stop and check my email to see if where we are heading to next offered me a coupon lately! What's the worst that can happen?? You delete the email? The best thing that can happen is that you SAVE MONEY!
We appriciate any other tips on how YOU find coupons! Please share with us and we will continue to update this list as we find new ways to get coupons!!
